Help Save the Bees Foundation works with our partners throughout the Reno-Lake Tahoe Region to create and rebuild bee habitats.
Return of the Wetlands
After almost 25 years as a golf course, Help Save the Bees Foundation partnered with the Truckee Meadow Parks Foundation to restore Rosewood Lakes into the natural wetlands it once was. These efforts have helped return the natural flora and fauna and create a habitat for bees and other pollinators.
On a global level
When HSBF can't do the work ourselves, we provide funding to nonprofits in other parts of the U.S. and abroad to help with habitat construction.
HSBF is proud to support organizations like the Karma Honey Project in Puerto Rico that are working hard to support pollinators, beekeepers, and the environment.
